Hatsan Blitz BP .25 (6.35mm)

The Hatsan Blitz BP .25 (6.35mm) PCP air rifle features a semi-automatic firing mode and a fully automatic firing mode. As a result, it shoots away nicely and you will have to refill the magazines more often than you like. The air rifle is available in different calibers, each with its own magazine capacity: – 5.5 mm / 21 pellets – 6.35 mm / 19 pellets – 7.62 mm / 16 pellets These are -regardless of the caliber- not large numbers, but it is particularly fun to shoot away nicely on that fully automatic mode. You do so nice and clean thanks to the barrel with slight choke and its pulls and pitches. The Hatsan Blitz BP does not have its own scope, but instead has a Weaver/Picatinny scoperail for mounting a scope of your choice. At the bottom of the front end -near the 580 cc compressed air reservoir with a filling pressure of 250 bar- is a second Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail, on which you can mount a bipod, for example. Between that rail and the trigger guard is a pressure gauge, on which you can read the remaining fill pressure. The synthetic stock features a height-adjustable cheek rest, allowing you to perfectly align your eye with any rifle scope. Furthermore, the Hatsan Blitz BP has a pistol style trigger and a rubber butt plate, both of which also contribute to proper ergonomics and shooting posture. The fire selector is located on the left side of the shoulder piece and it is very smooth to operate. The air rifle features a sidestep lever that sits on the right side of the frame, just below the cheek rest. You pull that siphon back, then load the magazine. By releasing the side-tension lever forward and pressing down just a bit more, you load the first pellet into the barrel. In both the semiautomatic firing mode and the fully automatic firing mode, the bullpup then does it by itself. Just until the magazine is completely empty, at which point the sidestep lever stays back.
