As a clip-on, it is easily mounted on a rifle scope, after which thermal images can be observed through the scope. Those thermal images are recorded by the sensor with a resolution of 640x512p. That sensor has a pixel pitch of only 12 µm, which means the pixels are very close to each other and thus provide a detailed image. The thermal sensitivity (also called the NETD) of only 15 mK, also contributes to particularly sharp thermal images. In fact, such a low NETD ensures that even the smallest temperature differences are detected, allowing the object under observation to be properly imaged. Everything is displayed on the large OLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, making even the smallest details easily perceptible through the rifle scope. The display has a very good image refresh rate of 50 Hz and observing with the Thunder 3.0 Clip-On is a very comfortable affair. It features a number of different color modes, allowing effective observation in a variety of conditions: – Black hot
– White hot
– Red hot
– Fusion
– Red monochrome
– Green monochrome The lens has a diameter of 50 mm, and the HikMicro Thunder 3.0 Clip-On TQ50CL thermal imager (without reticle) has a field of view of 15.4×12.3 meters at a distance of 100 meters. The thermal sensor has a range of 2,600 meters, allowing observation from long distances. In addition to observing, this thermal imaging scope can also be used to take photos and record videos -with audio. There are easy-to-operate buttons on the top of the housing to control the camera function, but the thermal imager also features a recoil-activation function. That feature ensures that a short video is automatically recorded as soon as the Thunder 3.0 Clip-On registers recoil. This makes it easy to capture every shot. All photos and videos are stored in the 64 GB internal memory and they can be easily transferred to a smartphone via the Hotspot function. The streaming function that the Thunder 3.0 Clip-On features makes it very easy to watch via a second screen. This thermal imager features a built-in ballistic calculator and rangefinder, which can measure distances up to a maximum of 1000 meters. The measured distance is communicated directly to the ballistic calculator, allowing the correct point of impact to be calculated for better purity. This HikMicro Thunder 3.0 Clip-On TQ50CL thermal imaging scope (without reticle) has a sturdy housing weighing only 540 grams and an IP67 waterproof certification. This makes it completely dustproof and it can be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes to a depth of one meter. It features a replaceable and rechargeable Li-ion battery, with a battery life of six hours.

Specifications

Specifications

Brand

HikMicro

iProduct code

TQ50CL 3.0

Type

Front Panel

<span class="tooltip amshopby-tooltip" title="The amount of detail in the thermal image depends on the sensor resolution.
