The Sako 85 Varmint is a brilliantly executed weapon with extreme precision for both hunting and target shooting. The heavy, freestanding barrel reduces vibration and recoil, and the stock provides great comfort. This rifle features a flat “beavertail” fore-end and a pistol grip which facilitates imposed shooting.
This Sako 85 Varmint features “controlled cartridge feed (RCS)” which eliminates double feeding or jamming during loading and firing. The removable “two-row” magazine is made of stainless steel and can also be loaded through the ejection port.
NB unlike the picture, this is the shorter 51 cm barrel length, with an M18x1 gag screw on the front!
