FX Hybrid Slugs 6.35 mm 26.3 grain slugs are a hybrid form between a regular air rifle bullet and a slug (bullet tip).

The FX Hybrid 6.35 mm 26.3 grain slugs have the appearance of a slug with high ballistic co ffici nt (low air resistance). However, they are completely hollow and have a hollowed-out base, making them lightweight. Their shape gives them a contact surface with the optimum balance between friction and sealing.

Air rifle pellets with a diabolo shape conform excellently to the traits and fields of a barrel and have a small contact area, and therefore little friction. Due to their shape, however, they have low ballistic co ffici nt, which means they lose speed quickly and are wind sensitive.

Ordinary slugs have a much higher ballistic co ffici nt, so they maintain their speed better. The large dead weight and large contact area (extra friction) do mean that a lot of extra force is needed to shoot slugs.

In summary, the FX Hybrid slugs can travel a flatter trajectory than conventional pellets and that they are less wind sensitive. Thanks to greater conservation of energy, they are well suited for long distances and the hollow tip gives tremendous expansion.
