This articulated air rifle from Hatsan is slightly different from the HS125. Instead of a coil spring, this Hatsan 125 Vortex has a gas spring. The advantage is that there is much less recoil. As a result, spring has a longer lifespan. Another advantage is that a gas spring allows multiple shots to be discharged in succession. This Hatsan has a length-adjustable stock and recoil-absorbing butt plate. The flask is made of plastic. This air rifle is available in caliber 5.5 with a velocity of just under 330 m/s and in caliber 6.35. It is very powerful: over 40 Joule! The Hatsan is the hardest shooting spring rifle in our collection. Given the speed and sights of this rifle, a scope is advisable.
