The FX Maverick Sniper is one of the latest models from the Swedish brand FX Airguns. This rifle is designed to shoot both diabolos and slugs.
The Maverick differs from previous models of FX because it has a dual regulator, because of the dual regulator you can shoot even more consistently, resulting in more accurate shooting than the previous models. Also, the regulator/Power plenum is a whopping 89 cc, this feature allows you to achieve the bullet speeds required for slugs.
The Maverick also features the FX liner system, which means that different liners can be fitted. So if you want to shoot heavy slugs / diabolos with it, for example, you can buy an STX Superior Heavy liner with it and then mount it to get better results with these bullets. By default, this rifle comes with the STX standard liner, this barrel is extremely suitable for standard diabolos and lighter slugs.
The Maverick is also very easy to adjust in regulator pressure and valve pressure. Because it is so easy to adjust, you can easily tune the rifle to shoot heavier slugs, for example.
The sniper version has a 700mm barrel but thanks to the bullpup design, this rifle still remains fairly manageable and compact with an overall length of 91.4 cm and a weight of 3265 grams.
